Division 41 Kenosha - Fox Waterway Division

Welcome Aboard!

U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Division 41 Kenosha - Fox Waterway Division serves the area in and around the Fox Lake Waterway and Lake Michigan from Great Lakes Naval Station to Wind Point, WI

Individuals and groups interested in recreational boating safety are invited to take advantage of our educational programs, free vessel safety checks, and even becoming a member of a Division 41 Flotilla.

In addition to public educational programs and vessel safety checks, our members also receive special training to assist the U.S. Coast Guard in non-law enforcement programs such as safety patrols, search and rescue, and marine environmental protection.

About Our Division

When We Meet

Our Division meets at 1900 Hrs (7:00 p.m.) on the Fourth Thursday of every month at the Lions Club, 81 E. Main St., Lake Zurich, Illinois. If you use your favorite MAP website or GPS and point to 81 E Main Street it will put you in front of the Lions Park which is immediately next to the Lions Club building. The parking entrance and lot are immediately west of the building.
The meeting time is (7 PM) 1900 Hrs. Hope to see you there!

Who We Are

Our Division currently consists of 195 members who actively patrol area waterways in North-Eastern Illinois and regularly meet with the boating public at marinas and in classrooms.

As a civilian component of the U.S. Coast Guard, we directly support all of its missions except military and law enforcement actions.

Benefits of Membership

We are constantly looking for qualified members. United States citizens 17 years of age and older without a felony conviction are welcome to join us.

Members are eligible to receive the world's finest on-the-water training. Courses are offered in Navigation, Seamanship, Communications, Weather, Patrols, and Search & Rescue.

Other optional benefits include the Coast Guard Credit Union, access to Coast Guard Exchanges, and insurance coverage.

The pride of wearing the Auxiliary uniform is amplified by the Auxiliary awards system. Your efforts will be recognized and rewarded.
